I just went there today at 1030am and there were no lines whatsoever. I went up and asked if they had any iPad 2's and it turns out they had a bunch of wifi only black only 32's and 64's. I picked up my 32 finally! They said they opened around 9 today and had a decent line. I guess when I showed up they were all gone but there was still stock leftover.:D
I returned at about 1130 for a refund on Applecare because I noticed they charged me for applecare which I didnt want. I asked if they still had any iPad 2's in stock and they said they had just run out.
Hope this helps for all you in the Sacramento area.

wow, 41 positives and 1 negative? never seen that before. it's always "mac prices are lowered! 41 positives and 10 negs (<-- dunno why)"
It's because certain people are never satisfied, and dissapointed when Apple doesn't live up to their over-blown expectations of them. When they see "Mac prices lowered" they get excited, then reading the article see that they were lowered $100, and they thought they should have been lowered $200, so they vote it negative.

You should try to get one that has at least one USB port on the back of the keyboard, so your two USB ports arent taken up on the Mac mini. The one you suggested doesnt say whether or not the USB port is on the keyboard or not. It definitely looks nice and would match the Mac mini nicely.
But I'd also suggest just going with Apple's mouse and keyboard. When I switched, I thought I would hate the one button mouse. Now, I don't hate it, I just dislike it. Also, the bluetooth deal is VERY hard to pass up... you get BT itself, BT keyboard and mouse for only $99 more.

Hi Guys,
Got a 3GS from my cousin which worked fine apart from the non functioning power button. I tried to reset the phone to default with itunes to get rid of his personal data etc. Now the thing wont start, or even make a blink. My comp/itunes wont detect the device. I cant get into DFU since the power button doesnt work
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

I just bought a 16G Nano and love it! Because I am quite late in the game with the iPods, I would have to say no to the scroll wheel. I've owned 2 iPhones and have an iPad, so all I've been accustomed to now are the finger swipes....so convenient and responsive, love it!!!

If it came with the iPod and you tell them the real date of purchase they won't replace it. Yes it is unethical to lie about things like this, but saying it "came with my sister's iPod around the 22nd" usually works.

Heh, changing horses in the middle of production is a bold maneuver.
So you decided to ditch the CG smoke cat? Was it not going to work?

By replace, do you mean you just purchased the Rev C, or you were sent a Rev C because there was a problem with your Rev A?

Wolfram Alpha, the online computational knowledge engine that launched in May, now has an app available in the App Store. According to its App Store description, the app "plugs directly into Wolfram|Alpha's supercomputing cloud to deliver the unrivaled power of the Wolfram|Alpha knowledge engine to the mobile environment."
While the app still requires an internet connection to work, it includes a special keyboard to make the entry of special characters for mathematical and other functions easy. An early review (http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19512_7-10377493-233.html?part=rss&tag=feed&subj=iPhoneAtlas) by CNET describes that the app makes all output, which are provided as GIF images even when the service is accessed through Safari, show well on the iPhone's screen and that queries can be bookmarked and published via Twitter.

The app's price is what garners quite a bit of attention - it costs $49.99 [App Store (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=334989259&mt=8)] while the Wolfram Alpha site is free to use when accessed through a web browser, including Safari on the iPhone, and is most likely targeted at power users who need frequent access to the service for complex computations.

You could literally walk into an apple store, blindfold yourself, spin around a couple times, and walk into any computer in the store and have something that will suit your needs adequately.
Having said that, I would recommend the stock 13" MacBook Pro. I daresay it's the best value for an Apple laptop. I wouldn't recommend a MacBook Air as your primary machine. I know you had mentioned your dad has an iMac, but you don't want to have to use his computer every time you need a more capable machine.

I really enjoyed the inline display feature.
Also, any one else experiencing that the app crashes when geo-tagging is on?
Yeah I liked it too. He didn't say, but I imagine that it was removed at the request of Twitter. It goes against their 140 character philosophy.
